RISING ACTRESS, Kehinde Adeyoju, has said she’s been lucky to position herself well in the film industry, a reason it has become easy for her to handle sexual advances from men on the job.

In an interview with The Nation, Adeyoju said;

“I have been lucky not to find myself in dangerous sexual advances in the industry. My take is simple; I avoid relationships within the circle because I was clear in my head that I want a man in other field of life from the beginning.

“Also, I have never at any point put all my hope in making a livelihood from movie production alone because my beginning is humbling. That helps me to control the appetite of men in the industry from a distance toward me at least.”

Adeyoju further cleared the widely circulated notion in the industry about men.

“It is also wrong to assume that all the men in Nollywood are all about those sexual advances. I disagree with that. It is not also bad for men to make advances anyway, we have witnessed many marriages coming out from Nollywood and they have healthy homes today.”
