AMAA 2017 which held on saturday the 25th of July was star studded as actors and movie practitioners from all around the world gathered at eko hotel, Lagos.

Lots of well deserved winners, fun, laughter and emotional moments which was hosted by the talented Nse Ikpe-Etim…

This year marks the 13th edition of this prestigious award that was fully supported by the Lagos state government, Akinwunmi Ambode.

Jahwar Soudani’s role in “Last Of Us” earned him the Award For Best Actress in a Leading Role.

Vero Tshanda beat Rita Dominic, Lupita Nyong’O, Bimbo Akintola, Zimkhitha Nyoka, Khabonina Quebeka, Josette Bushell-Mingo to win the Award For Best Actress in a Leading Role for her role in the movie, “Félicité.”

“Felicite,” which emerged the biggest winner of the night, won the AMAA 2017 Best Film.
