The star actress was (born 22 April 1978) in Edo State, Nigeria. She studied Foreign Languages (majoring in French) at the University of Benin graduating with honours (2nd Class Upper division).
Omoni’s acting career officially began in 1996 and since then she has starred in several A List Movies including ‘Wives On Strike’, ‘Okafor’s Law’, ‘Fifty’, ‘The Figurine’ among others.
The ‘Being Mrs Elliot’ actress is the first actress from Nollywood to win ‘Best Actress’ in two international festivals (that are not organized by Nigerians or Africans), in the same year.
Omoni Oboli produced hit movie ‘Okafor’s Law’ which made history in Nigerian Cinemas. The movie ticket was consistently sold out at different cinemas across the country.
Omoni made good use of her celebrity status by setting up a charity foundation called ‘The Omoni Oboli Foundation’ to help the less privileged women and children of the society.
The fashion entrepreneur is married to Nnamdi Oboli and they have three adorable sons. The duo define couple goals as they have been married for sixteen years! Yea you read that right, sixteen years of marriage and still counting.
