The last governorship election in Anambra state had Nollywood actor, Yul Edochie as a contestant under People’s Democratic Congress.
The 36 year old actor ran against 36 other aspirants, including Willie Obiano and secured 146 votes in total.
However, the election was won by the incumbent governor, Willie Obiano leaving Yul Edochie and others defeated.
Seeing how low his votes were, many deemed his campaign a failure but it appears, the actor has gathered more confidence as he hints on contesting for the 2019 presidential election.
Of what might look like aiming too high, the actor seems convinced about his victory this time as he stated that he would win if he contested.
He wrote: “2018 is just unfolding, we pray for more blessings so let’s just keep our fingers crossed. Who knows, I may just decide to run for president of Nigeria this time, in 2019, and I will win.”
